I grew up riding Mt. Hood when I was younger then made the decision to move out to Bend after Highschool. Going on 9 years of living here, I can't imagine a better place to call home base. Riding at Mt. Bachelor is insane! There's so many different types of terrain and the mountain can literally transform overnight. The in-bounds freeriding is next to none in Oregon, not to mention you can go 20 minutes into the side country and score fresh turns on any given pow day. That paired with some of the most talented riders coming out of this area, it makes for a special day when the weather conditions and friend posse all line up.
This season I'm really just looking forward to getting back to riding as many days as possible and sharing all those good times with my close friends. I'd also like to venture out into the backcountry a bit more this season and get a little more out of my comfort zone. There's so much amazing terrain to ride in Oregon and it's all fairly accessible when you make the effort to get out there. I couldn't be more stoked to be a part of such a rad family at here at SnoPlanks.
