"Bend, Oregon’s own, SnoPlanks, have been making quite a name for themselves recently in the board building world. Next year’s “Asym Fish” featured here, was the standout board among shapers at this years JH PowWow, and trust us when we say this thing will rip it all, from waist deep pow to summer corn and slush. As traditionalists when it comes to board to design, we had to try it before we bought into it, but man were we blown away. We highly recommend you jump on one of these boards."

The Asym Fish is the a design derived from surfboard shapers like Carl Ekstrom, Ryan Burch, and Matt Parker. It is designed to surf the mountain utilizing varying edge lengths and sidecuts to assist in turn initiations and hold. On the toe side of the board you have a longer edge towards the nose and tail, giving better edge hold on long drawn out bottom turns. This initiates more force and speed into your heel side transition which slides effortlessly outfitted with a deeper sidecut and shorter contact points. This construction allows for aggressive bottom turns and powerful hits off any lip. Equally at home in powder or carving fast groomers and slush. Riding this shape is literally one of the most fun feelings on snow and is a recommend addition to every quiver.
