 CARE INSTRUCTIONS

SnoPlanks are crafted with natural bamboo top sheets which provide incredible pop, glide, and surfability in all riding conditions. Like any board or ski you may experience some wear and tear as the season goes on. The advantage to SnoPlanks unlike any other product in the industry is that you can refinish your craft year after year to maintain its natural beauty and performance.

If you follow these easy steps you will have a like new plank when the snow starts falling again next season.

STEP ONE:

Remove your bindings and let the board completely dry. Use a towel to wipe down the top sheet and sidewalls and set it in the sun or in a room temperature area to fully evaporate any residual moisture.

STEP TWO:

Once the board is dry lightly sand the top sheet and sidewalls with a scotch bright pad or 220 grit sandpaper to remove all foreign dirt, grease, etc. If you have rail dings or top sheet gashes you can get a bit more aggressive in these areas with 100 grit sandpaper to fully smooth out the damaged wood. Once Sanding is complete wipe all residual dust and residue from the board with a tack cloth or rag.

STEP THREE:

Using rag or brush apply a fresh coat of oil based UV resistant urethane and place in a room temp (or warmer) environment to dry. Lightly sand the top sheet once the first coat is dry and apply a second coat for further protection and more depth to the finish.

STEP FOUR:

Once dry use a wax scraper to remove any residual finish from the base and edges of the board. Clean the base of the board with wax removal solvent and apply a fresh wax job.

STEP FIVE:

Go Slide.
