Lane is a 33 year-old Bend Oregon native with a passion for photography and outdoor recreation. His imagery is a fusion of dramatic landscapes, alternative sports, and outdoor lifestyle. He has been behind the lens, as a hobbyist, since the tail end of the 35mm film era and is now in the exploratory stages of making a career out of digital photography.
Lane's passion for photography stems from a life-long connection with nature. His mission is to keep the stoke for outdoor exploration alive, and to bring feeling and mood to his viewers and clients. His plans for 2016/17 include a fall trip to Jamaica, a mid-winter surf trip to Central America, and lots of backcountry missions in Central and Eastern Oregon. Lane's biggest inspiration in photography is his closest friend and nationally known surf photographer, Mark McInnis.
